The sloth encounter does not include admission to the park

This wild encounter is a must-do while visiting Out of Africa Wildlife Park. Go inside the sloth enclosure and have a private, up-close encounter with one of the most fascinating and adorable creatures of all time - the two-toed sloth. Feel free to take as many pictures and selfies with our sloth as you like. It doesn't get any closer than this!

Attendees of all ages welcome! Children 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult. Group size limited to 7 people. Each encounter lasts approximately 15 minutes. The house is not wheelchair accessible and our sloth sits up higher than visible while seated.

Need to know:
Guests must wear close-toed shoes
Maximum of 7 people for each encounter.
Guests are required to arrive to the park 45 minutes prior to their scheduled encounter to ensure adequate time to get to sloth house.

The animal you meet--a lion, tiger, or bear--will be determined on the day of your visit based on availability and the animal's wellbeing. Under the guidance of an expert carnivore keeper, you'll help place food, and toys throughout the habitat for the animal to explore. Learn fascinating facts about these powerful predators, including their history, behaviors, and daily care, directly from their caregivers. Guests may also have the opportunity to assist with feeding and enjoy special photo moments to commemorate the experience.

Tortoise Feeding (General Admission not included) Stick your neck out and enjoy a leisurely snack break with one of our Sulcata tortoises. Learn all about them their fascinating natural history. This experience includes entering the tortoise habitat to feed the tortoises vegetables with tongs, touching them with the guidance of a reptile keeper and photo opportunities to commemorate the experience. (Max 10 people.)

If you've ever wondered what happens at a wildlife park after the last guest leaves, this is your chance to find out firsthand - the perfect opportunity to see animal behavior under a canopy of stars. Bring your sleeping gear and join us for a limited-engagement campout at Out of Africa Wildlife Park as we witness this spectacle together alongside lions, tigers, hyenas, and bears. Oh, my!

The Jungle Hut Eatery is open for dinner. The park provides an evening ice cream social and a hearty breakfast in the morning with plenty of hot chocolate and coffee. You are welcome to explore the park on your own when the park opens at 9:30 a.m. to see all of your favorite animals in the light of day. Plus, the gift shop will open early at 9:30 a.m. Enjoy a 10% discount on all gift shop purchases.

The Racing Raptor is the final (single-run) zip line of the full zip line course. It does not include the full zip line tour.
